Тhree Кittens Аre Нappy Вecause Тhey Нave Found Families Аfter Spending Мany Days At Тhe Shelter

Laura Malone, a director of Mini Cat Town (a San Jose, California-based cat rescue), was to a local shelter to pick up a litter of kittens when she came across a trio in need of help. “They came to the shelter at the same time as my litter of (five) fosters as unweaned orphaned bottle babies,” Laura explained.

She returned home with the five, but she couldn’t stop thinking about the three, hoping that they would be picked up by a foster volunteer or another rescue group soon.

From the moment she came to the shelter, Angel Soft, a small tortie, had everyone worried. She was little and had sad eyes when she arrived, but after she was covered in a towel, she was comfortable and ready to be fed.

Laura began syringe-feeding the kittens and began treating them for gastric problems. They were given a cozy, warm nest to sleep in, as well as undivided care and love.

Angel rapidly perked up in a cozy setting with an entire family to look after them around the clock.

Every day, the three grew bigger and stronger. Their adventurous and mischievous personality came out in full force as a result of their increased strength. Angel rapidly figured out exactly how to use the litter box and cuddle up on her humans’ laps.

After each feeding, the beautiful tortie would roll about in her nest, flailing her little paws and begging for more strokes and head scritches.

Angel is determined to keep up with her brothers, Charmin and Scott, despite her small size, and can hold her own when wrestling with larger cats.

“For a tortie, she has a very quiet and gentle attitude. “They have a reputation for being feisty and tenacious,” Laura explained.

Angel enjoys the new toys, basket, and other comforts that come with their playpen, but she rushes to occupy any vacant laps she sees.

“She’s quite nice and snuggly. She’s the first one to crawl onto my lap for a snuggle and a pet.”

Ana, the nightly volunteer, recently paid a visit to the three and was ecstatic with their growth.

Angel and her siblings are growing into healthy, happy adolescent cats with the support of numerous volunteers and a loving foster home, and they are enjoying every day to the fullest.
