After being discovered as a pregnant stray, this lovely white cat was surrendered to the Potsdam Humane Society in Potsdam, New York.
The cat gave birth to three adorable little kittens shortly after she arrived.
Despite all that had happened to her and her three babies, she still had enough of love to give.
The youngsters were brought to their new mother by rescuers, and it was love at first sight. “She was such a nice mom,” a spokeswoman from the Potsdam Humane Society said.
“She took them directly under her wing and showed them where to obtain food and started washing them right away.” One of the orphans died because she was too weak, but the other three are doing well.
Now, the new family is happy as can be, and the sweet mom is taking care of the six babies as if they were all her own.
In a few weeks, the kittens will be available for adoption. Meanwhile, they’re thriving as they learn to cuddle and play under the watchful eye of their mother. Below you’ll find some adorable footage of the very special family:
