Sam, a young gray female, and her siblings in Mini Cat Town were orphaned in San Jose, California. Sam’s navel chord had not yet been severed at the age of four days and she could only live under the care of nannies.

Laura Maylon, director of Mini Cat Town, took the kittens inside and started caring for them and feeding them regularly. The babies had not yet opened their eyes, but were content to be warm and content.

“Sam had a favorite place in the far corner of her nest, where she fell asleep on her back,” Laura shares.

Sam began to lose weight and lose her appetite a few weeks later, and carers realized something was wrong with her. “At this age, kittens are constantly vulnerable; circumstances may change (for the better or for the worst) in the blink of an eye.”

Sam was sick and drowsy, but Laura’s husband came to his rescue, and you can just call him Daddy.

“More than anything, he enjoys comforting humans and animals that are in distress. “And he promised Sam that he would cuddle her till she recovered,” Laura adds.

Daddy wrapped Sam in a comfortable blanket and kept a close check on her throughout the night. While she slept in his arms, he told her that she was loved, gazed at her, and stroked her.

He proudly declared that he had fixed her when she ultimately began to act more like herself,” Laura says.

Sam has regained her vitality and is on the mend after several IVs, trips to the veterinarian, and dietary modifications. She began to eat more healthily and put on weight.

Returning home after treatment, Sam jumped on Daddy’s shoulder to cuddle up tight. Daddy spent enough time with Sam, cheering her on, and she never lacked love.

“She was active, playful and enjoyed spending a lot of time with other kittens. Being the tiniest of the entire team, she pushed through with the strength of her personality.”

Sam and her sister Jo had a deep relationship. They were frequently spotted snuggling during quiet hours, and they acquired feline abilities together.

The sisters sat on a nice blanket and crushed it with their paws, murmuring in two voices.

It became clear that the two sisters could not be separated. They played together and fed each other’s energy. “These sisters are two fools, two purrs, they would like to live in the same family, among many pillows for games!”

When the kittens were ready for adoption, Sam and Joe found the ideal home. These amazing people commented on Instagram, “We fell in love with them at first sight.”

“Our beloved gray and white cat, Bootsy, has passed away. I ran into Sam and Joe on the day of her death (now their names are Mishka and Bunny). We knew we had to take these girls that day after sobbing a lot of tears since they looked precisely like our beloved Bootsy.”

Bear (formerly Sam) has become a luxurious kitty, and she is not at all as tiny as before. She and her sister Zaika have been best friends since day one, and nothing has changed in that regard.

“Her owners say that Mishka is not indifferent to male people, which makes me especially happy,” says Laura.
