To Let Нis Оwner Кnow When Нe’s Нungry А Сat Рlays Оn A Тiny Рiano

All of the interesting things you can teach your pet are part of the joy of having one. Tricks like turning over and pretending to be dead, as well as delivering a high five or a handshake. It gives individuals a whole new perspective on how they interact with their pets and demonstrates how intelligent animals can be at times.

Some techniques are quite amazing, while others might backfire on you. Like the trick of teaching your cat to paw a piano note to be fed. The cat then proceeds to ring the piano key all the time since eating is nice, as you are well aware.

Don’t say a cat can’t learn new tricks—this one learnt to play the piano to express his hunger.

Meet Winslow, Kate Nyx’s adorable 7-year-old tabby chonk and animal buddy, who has lately garnered online celebrity for doing just that—pawing a piano note as a sort of request to be fed, which Nyx trained him to do.

It’s fine if your cat plays the piano once in a while, but not every hour or so when it wants to be fed rather than when it needs to be eaten. Nyx posted a video of one of these events to her Twitter account to show the world what she had to deal with, and it became so popular that it went global.

The video begins with Winslow hitting various buttons, prompting Nyx to ask, “Is it time for dinner?” Winslow purrs and meows. That’s a “yes,” we’re going to say. Then he casually turns to Nyx, who asks, “When is supper time?” Winslow responds with a lengthy meow. “Not right now,” Nyx replies. Now the poor cat will have to wait for another two hours.

Meet Winslow, the cat who went viral after begging to be fed by playing the piano.

Because he would otherwise be unruly and loud, the 7-year-old tabby was trained to play the piano.

Kate Nyx is a musician herself and she explained that she bought the piano on eBay when she was in high school. So it wasn’t long until Winslow also started showing interest in the piano, playing the various notes and trying to figure out where the heck the sound was coming from.

As it turns out, Winslow was taught to play the piano because he was instead using his voice to achieve the same results: “He used to run around screaming all the time and I was like, ‘this is no good,’” said Winslow’s owner Kate Nyx. “The piano is another way to communicate, so he’s not screaming bloody murder.”

“It became some kind of hunting reward because he can’t do much in the apartment. He tends to only play it when we’re in the kitchen and he knows he can possibly get a snack,” elaborated Nyx.

Winslow also uses the piano to express other things, like the need for attention and cleaning the litter box

But he’s not just playing for the sake of eating. He also utilizes the piano to communicate himself in general, such as when he wants to be noticed or his litter emptied. “In general, it’s his alarm system.” He’s learned that moving his paws up and down the keyboard makes me happy, so he does it when he really wants something,” Nyx said.

Naturally, this newfound prominence produced a musical single. “I guess since this is my first tweet to go genuinely viral, I should remind you his single drops Friday on http://katenyx.com/music,” she said in a follow-up Twitter. Bean Gotta Scream is the name of the song, and it includes Winslow doing one of the sickest solos ever. Oh, and let’s not even talk about the singing.

The song is now available for purchase on Bandcamp, so go check it out.

It wasn’t long until his artist owner, Kate Nyx, published a tune featuring her cat on piano solo duties.

Winslow was a huge hit on the internet, and his original video became viral on Twitter.

Winslow and his piano abilities became viral on the internet. One user stated he liked it a lot more than he should, complimenting the piano solo and claiming Winslow is a highly gifted improvisational pianist. To be honest, Winslow is a better pianist than I am, so he deserves all of the attention!
