The great story we have today, in contrast to other tales of abandoned animals, will offer you a nice impression of pet owners. If you don’t comprehend someone’s behavior, don’t draw conclusions from it.
Owners occasionally find themselves forced to forsake their cherished pets despite their best intentions.
Last week, Pet Valu staff were surprised as they arrived to work at the store on College Park Lane and found crates covered in blankets outside the store. Inside were twenty-two cats and kittens.
Unlike other abandoned cats, these kittens were clearly well cared for.
Three torn sheets of notebook paper were posted on the front door which contained the full story along with a request: “Please understand and read this before you judge”. They immediately read through and started to understand everything.
It turned out that the kittens’ owner had just experienced unexpected family traumas. The person’s son had an automobile accident and required extensive medical attention. An aunt was unwell following the tragedy and passed away from liver cancer. The owner of the cat used all of his or her savings to cover the funeral expenses.
That is why the person who had to leave adorable cats because their maintenance is too expensive. Instead of dumping them on the street, the person was trying to find the cats a new home. Alongside the crates, litterboxes, and toys, the person left the last $30 he or she had.
Luckily, the cats were left with the perfect person and received the care they need. They are currently in the process of being vaccinated and fixed.
Staffs started to find new houses for cats and kittens.
Although leaving pets behind is never a good idea, the collective effort that provided these kitties with a happy life and a permanent home is hopefully a success.
We make sure that their prior owner will be content with their new home for their cherished cats and kittens.
