At first glance, it’s not hard to notice that Xherdan the cat has many striking features.
From his light turquoise eyes to his large, pointy ears, he’s definitely a unique-looking cat.
But his mother can’t get enough of his wrinkled, grouchy appearance, which is what makes him most fascinating.
According to Xherdan’s mother, Sandra Filippi, “he quickly captured my heart when I first saw him.” He is such a unique baby boy.
Unlike other sphynx cats, Xherdan is a Canadian sphynx, who are less slender and have many more wrinkles than other sphynx cats. He lives in Switzerland with his mom alongside two other sphynx cats and one dog.
Although Xherdan may look different than other cats, he is not shy at all about showing off how special he is.
“He is just like a child,” Filippi said. “He speaks a great deal in all pitches. When he’s excited, when he’s hungry, when he’s playing, or when he’s cuddling … He is always talking.”
When he isn’t chatting someone’s ear off, he spends hours sitting by the window watching birds — a very important duty in the household.
“He watches everything,” Filippi said. “He always wants to know what is going on, so he often just wants to be where his humans are.”
Fortunately, it means there will be many chances for snarky picture sessions for Xherdan’s Instagram account. His tens of thousands of fans like his wrinkled visage and signature grouchy looks.
But rest assured, despite his eternally scowled expression, Xherdan couldn’t be happier.
Filippi stated, “I constantly have to stare into his blue eyes and give him plenty of cuddles, so he usually distracts me while I’m trying to accomplish something.” He is the world’s most gorgeous cat. He also consistently makes me chuckle.
