Honey Bee is a fantastic blind cat who also happens to be a worldwide adventurer. She’s lived in the Caribbean and now lives in Seattle with her two human companions and four other cats. When she was a kitten, the family adopted her from Animals Fiji. Hiking with her humans is one of her favorite pastimes.
She loves to ride on her humans’ shoulders on long walks. Whenever they go hiking, they will take her on their shoulders or with a leash. She likes listening to water sounds when going on outdoor adventures.
Despite her blindness, she never allows it stop her from going on hikes with her owners and exploring the world. She doesn’t have strong eyesight, but she has a keen awareness of edges and drop-offs, allowing her to approach without falling in.

Sadly, Honey Bee passed away last night due to serious illness. She was only seven and a half years old, but she did a lot with the time she had. She had a very good life for a runty disabled cat born in a less developed country.
“Farewell, courageous little Honey Bee.” Her body could no longer withstand the strain, and she died yesterday night. Honey Bee embodied the phrase “living your best life,” and she never missed an opportunity to have fun, travel, or meet new people. Honey Bee lived a rich life full of adventures and love, and she radiated pleasure wherever she went – whether to her online friends or strangers she met on walks and treks,” her owners wrote on Facebook.
“I’ve been amazed at how many people have liked, followed her life, and given lovely words about how she has offered them with comfort, inspiration, or hope throughout the years.” When I first launched Honey Bee’s Facebook page, I regarded her as a “anti-Grumpy Cat” — she was really nice and only wanted to share joy.”
Rest in peace Honey Bee! You will live forever in our hearts. Small, cute, and fluffy like your namesake, and with similar colors, your life was dedicated to exploring and making sweetness, like a honeybee.
