Three kittens were found near a shed by a kind woman. They help each other thrive and are always together through thick and thin.
Mel from Montreal, Canada has been helping strays around her neighborhood. Earlier this year, she spotted an elusive pregnant cat and started feeding her. A few weeks later, she found the cat again, who sadly didn’t survive the outdoors. Mel suspected that the cat had given birth, and her kittens must be hidden somewhere nearby.
She began to search for the kittens and was determined to get them to safety. After looking around the area, she found three little furballs stowed away in a hiding spot near her shed.
They were very small and hungry and starting to walk. Mel scooped them up, fed them with a bottle, and saved their lives.
She reached out to her local rescue, Chatons Orphelins Montréal, so the litter of three could have a better chance at life.
“The kittens were around four weeks old when they arrived, and all three are boys — Rocket (grey), Saturnin (Beige), and Orion (orange),” Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with us.
Manon and Anais, foster volunteers of the rescue, welcomed the kittens into their home. They bottle fed them around the clock and gave them lots of attention and plenty of soft things to snuggle with.
“The kittens put on weight and grew in their foster home. Once they were weaned, they befriended the house cats who took them under their wing.”
The trio share an adorable bond since the beginning. They keep each other entertained with their rambunctious energy and are rarely out of each other’s eyesight.
“Saturnin likes to follow his siblings around the house. They demand hugs from their humans together and do everything as a trio,” the rescue shared with us.
“It would be a dream come true if all three of them could find a home together. They like to chase each other around the house and copy one another when they play.”
Even when they sleep, they are snuggled together like three peas in a pod.
Saturnin is the most mellow of the three. He is an observer and follows in his brothers’ paw-steps. If his brothers aren’t in the same room with him, he will immediately seek them out.
Orion, the mischief-maker, is confident and very playful. He creates all sorts of antics and is the leader of the trio. Rocket is the strongest kitty of the bunch, and can hold his own when he wrestles with bigger cats.
Orion and Rocket are joined at the hip, and Saturnin stays closely behind.
“These three little ones are so lucky to have been rescued, and now, they are ready to look for a family for life.”
