While her mother was out for lunchtime grocery shopping, a cat accidentally turned on the sink faucet and blocked the drain, flooding her home and causing a mess. Jasmin Stork, 26, said that she had no regrets and was proud of her when she witnessed her boyfriend Robbie’s cat making a mess.
mostly because he was employing a novel technique that he had just acquired and which they had never anticipated his utilizing to do so extensive harm.
When her parents saw her performing the act, they thought it was a rather curious trick, so they decided to record her performing the funny maneuver.
It all started one day when Jasmin was coming home from work and saw that the faucet in the sink was open, but she didn’t know why. The woman was very confused, but the next day while she was in the bathroom, Amber walked in, jumped on the sink and started chewing on the faucet.

The woman was very confused, but the next day while she was in the bathroom, Amber walked in, jumped on the sink and started chewing on the faucet.
Jasmin said to the Daily Mail:
“I began recording because I assumed that’s why the faucet was on right away. We considered it enjoyable at this point. We even made light of the fresh “trick” he had picked up.
The following day, Amber was fiddling with the faucet once more when she accidentally blocked the drain; fortunately, Jasmin was home to intervene.
Since then, every time they went to work they left the bathroom door closed to avoid mishaps, but everything changed when Jasmin worked from home. On October 7, Jasmin was working from home, when she decided to go to a nearby store to buy some food during lunch hours.
She was only out for 30 minutes, but that was long enough for Amber to get her act together and perform her trick again. When Jasmin returned, she found a pretty flooded house, with jets of water coming through the ceiling of her living room.
The image was very shocking, but the woman in the background knew what had happened and that luckily it had not taken so long in the store.
Jasmine said:
“I knew as soon as I walked into the room what had happened. I ran upstairs and the faucet was on and water was overflowing through the sink. It was everywhere.”
Amber, on the other hand, seems to find everything amusing as she sat at the kitchen doorway and observed everything that was happening. She was also laughing and tapping her legs in the water, as if everything was hilarious; she showed no guilt.
Even though she had only been gone for 30 minutes, the woman still found it hard to comprehend that the restroom door was open. Additionally, Amber had slept all morning.
Jasmine also said:
“When I arrived home, I was talking to my mother on the phone, and I’m sure she could hear the dread in my voice when I opened the front door and discovered my living room was flooded. It would have been lot worse if I had been gone for more than 30 minutes and not been at work all day.
Due to the large volume of water cascading down, a puddle was formed on the laminate flooring and several things got wet. The couple is still finishing up drying some things, so they still don’t know how much it will cost in total to repair the damage to their prized pet.
Jasmine commented:
“The roof hasn’t fallen in, which is a blessing. We live in an old cabin style house, so the water was leaking through the wooden boards. We will have to replace the floor that we have had to break.
The images of the curious cat learning to open the tap and the video of the flood were uploaded to social networks and seen by thousands of people.
Mischievous Amber had only learned to turn on the sink faucet for her amusement , but no one thought she could cause such a mess.
