On September 1st, Florida resident Beth Walden noticed a Facebook emergency post about a cat that was just a day old. Someone needed to look after the infant because he was discovered on the street all by himself.
Beth answered and offered her assistance. She and her daughter went to pick up the kitten the following morning. The young child was famished. They hurried right away to the closest store to get the special milk formula and other supplies he required.
As soon as we purchased a syringe, Beth says, “His first feeding took place right there in the parking lot.”
They gave him the nickname Little Short Pants, and he immediately established himself as a warrior.
He had closed eyelids, and his umbilical chord was still attached. However, he moved without incident.
Beth’s three dogs heard Baby sobbing soon after he arrived and came to greet him.
The meeting went on under Beth’s direction. The dog owned by Frenchy licked the kitten’s muzzle tenderly and affectionately, as if she were a mother herself.
Dog Salvador liked the kitten very much, and he comes to visit him whenever he starts to squeak.
“They come running when he meows,” says Beth.

Over the next few weeks, the Kid passed one milestone after another.
Little Short Pants finally opened his eyes and his doggie friends were there to celebrate.
When the kitten was old enough, Beth allowed him to cuddle with the dogs – under supervision, of course.
The baby immediately melted in their arms and burst into a purr. The caress of his friends lifted his spirits, he felt loved and contented.
More recently, the Kid began to learn to walk. The dog team watched in unison as he took his first steps.
Salvador is a born nanny, he looks after every step of the little kitten.
The kid who was found lonely will never be alone again.
Today he tipped the scales to 510g. “I first took him to the vet when he was a few days old and he only weighed 113g. Our Baby is growing!”
