While cleaning the stables for her horses at her rural home in California, Cassie heard a disturbance that seemed like it was coming from a little animal. She initially mistook it for a bird, so she was perplexed, but then she noticed one of her horses peering into the bushes, and there was something there.
Cassie reported:
“As I drew nearer, I saw they were little meows. It was a kitten screaming and pleading for help.
The young woman decided to call out to the little feline as she approached, and immediately ran out of the bushes and headed towards her. When Cassie picked her up in her arms, she began to wag her little paws happily, and seemed to be looking for food.
Cassie said:
She began drinking a lot of the water that was dripping on the floor from the hose while I was filling a bowl with it in the room where I had taken her.
The young child was starving and thirsty, so Cassie placed the hose nearby and let her to drink till she was satisfied. She also prepared him food by using a tin of wet cat food that she had in her vehicle.
Cassie said:
“He ate the food very quickly. She was skinny and covered in fleas. I finished my chores and went home with her.”
Arriving home, he gave her a bath to remove the fleas, dried her, and after this she was very tired, so she slept soundly through the night in a comfortable bed.
Cassie said:
“I believe she realized she was finally protected and could relax.”
The hairy one had a different attitude the following morning when Cassie got up, and she was running and playing all over the place.
It seemed that he was taking over the house, he was so brave that he went all over the place greeting and touching Cassie’s other pets.
In a few days, she had already adapted, she was very cunning and playful, she never hesitated to share with the other animals, but she acted like the boss.
He became a good appetite, never wasting a morsel of food, he also became very attached to his human mother and always snuggles with her.
Cassie said:
“Now she is completely healthy. She loves to play and fight with my other cats, even though she is still very small».
She has no idea how the little girl ended up in that bush, but she went back the next few days to see if the mother was around. But neither the mother, nor any other cats were near the place. Nothing like it was ever seen again, perhaps they had abandoned her.
The little lady has developed into a devoted cat, gained a lot of energy, and her personality is becoming more and more apparent with each passing day.
Although she is developing swiftly, she is still very close to her human mother and follows her around the home running after her. The kitten gets along well with the other dogs and cats in the home, and she adores and is content with her large family.
