Сat Тreats А Little Кitten As Нis Оwn Аnd Never Gets Тired Оf Giving Нer Аttention

Shelby Thorpe, the creator of Shelby’s Kitten SafeHouse in Oregon, received a call in March of this year informing her of a litter of kittens that had been discovered by a TNR rescuer. Only one kitten was able to survive since the mother cat was unable to care for the others.

The decision was taken to take the small kitten to Shelby so that she could be bottle-fed and cared for in a healthy setting because she was shivering and the surroundings were unsuitable for her. One of the rescuer’s regular cats made the decision to visit the new kitten soon after she brought it home.

The lady stated:

“I forgot to close the kitchen door when I went to get something. When I came back, I found Ice Bear (the cat) looking at the new boy. He knew he was going to be a great big brother to her.”

The kitten was named Cleo, she had fleas and suffered from some eye infections. Shelby cleaned her with love and care, treated her eyes and began to feed her throughout the day with delicious bottles.

With a cozy nest and a plush animal as a regular friend, the cat’s situation quickly started to improve.

Shelby declared:

“When he began feeding properly from the bottle, I knew he would be alright.” As soon as she gained weight, she became more curious and sniffed all over the place looking for scents she picked up from the resident cats.

The rescuer recalls:

“Polar was immediately curious about the new kitten in the cage and did as much research as she was allowed for the first two weeks as she had to be in quarantine.”

A few of days later, Cleo began to move about and had an increased curiosity. She was developing into a vivacious little lady and eagerly anticipated spending time with her feline companions. When Cleo was medically sound, Ice Bear was finally given the formal introduction he had been waiting for.

The guarding cat immediately took the young kitten under his care and started washing her cheeks and ears.

Shelby also said:

Polar is very concerned about her responsibilities as a mother. Since it fits beneath her long legs, he now takes pleasure in softly pouncing in her direction and strolling straight over her as she moves. In order to prevent her from running away from him while getting a bath, he also gives her a wash and holds her by her front paws.

Now the lovely Cleo is happy whenever she is together with Ice Bear. She melts with love for him, and enjoys snuggling and can’t seem to get enough of her attention. She also enjoys the company of her humans and loves to hang out on her adoptive mother’s lap.

Cleo put her rocky start behind her and is now thriving alongside a wonderful adoptive family.
