Leaving an animal in a box a few days after it was born is almost as harsh as abandoning it, which is itself a horrible act. Fortunately, this cat, who resembles a little panda, was saved and is now content in her new home.
A cat and her two siblings, who were only a few weeks old, were discovered few weeks ago on the streets of Spain. The kittens were transported to ADAC Cerdanyola because they were in a box and in need of urgent expert treatment.
Olga, a caregiver for newborn and critically ill felines at the animal rescue facility, made the decision to assume custody of the young animals in order to provide them the care they need.
Olga told:
“The box was wet, dirty, we don’t know how long they were there before they were found.”
The woman insisted on saving all the kittens, but despite this, only the kitten managed to survive.
Marie, the cute little panda, struggled mightily to survive, but thanks to Olga’s care, she survived.
The young child became extremely loving as she healed, clinging to her foster mother nonstop and demanding an extended cuddling session. The kitty constantly wanted to be touched after or before meals since it made her happy every time.
Everyone who sees Marie immediately notices that she resembles a panda because of the marks that were on her at birth. The cat is dressed perfectly in a “jacket” with long sleeves for a coat and has a few adorable black dots on her ears.
Despite being reared alone, Marie was anxious to make feline friends and have playmates with whom she could explore, run about, and generally get into trouble.
He started to walk in search of a companion after he learnt how to utilize his legs. Olga was aware of her desire for him, so he came up with a strategy for her. The mother had just adopted another kitten named Kiara and was bottle-feeding an orphaned kitten named Kazumi at the time.
She knew that the two felines were the perfect candidates to be Marie’s friends, but first she had to recover from her health problems. A few days later, Marie was finally ready to get together and meet the other kittens.
He first met the friendly Kiara, and the two quickly hit it off, starting to play games, go for walks, and even go for a ride together.
The kittens fit in so well that it seemed as if they had been sisters forever ; without a doubt, it was the company that Marie needed.
Says Olga
After his siblings died, he was in a lot of pain until Kiara arrived. Marie gained two new sisters when Kazumi entered the adoption room a little while later.
Fortunately, the little child is flourishing with the assistance of all of her caregivers, and Kiara and Kazumi have begun using their feline prowess to run and climb.
Marie is the most laid back of the three, always enjoying lounging in her nest, but rests easy knowing she’ll never be alone again.
Olga added:
She is the calmest kitten I have ever raised, she is not the typical naughty one. She prefers to watch the other kittens play from the comfort of your lap.
Marie loves her new life, having traveled a difficult road to get to this point, but now all she has to do is find a forever home.
