Animal rights activists from North Carolina’s Sparkle Cat Rescue rescued a black and white kitten who was a female. She was explosive right off the off. So little, yet so ferocious and unstoppable.
She instantly started hissing furiously and meowing loudly. As their sense of smell develops, it’s normal for kittens to hiss at strange odours, according to foster volunteer Sarah Kelly.
Margarita’s abbreviated name, Rita, was just two weeks old when she showed no fear. She yelled loudly the entire way home and did not even consider trying to control herself.
She is boisterous, vivacious, and cuter in person than she appears in the picture.
The next day, rescuers managed to find four more kittens from her litter, and Rita was reunited with her family.
“They were found and transported to us that morning, all placed to rest in a comfortable incubator,” says Sarah. – All as strong and self-confident as Rita, who achieved great success during the first night with us. We’re glad we were able to reunite her with her siblings.”
The brave baby gladly crawled back into the purring bunch of her relatives Mo, Manny, Mimi and Julep. They hugged all day long, like a close-knit team engaged in a common cause.
Rita climbed into the very center of the pile to be surrounded by love from all sides.
Around the kittens, she became more lively and naughty. Due to a hereditary illness, Julep sadly went to the rainbow, while everyone else lived and prospered.
Together, they learned cat skills while making fun of one another. Rita was not shy about displaying her many endearing quirks.
She liked to sleep in stupid relaxed positions or wander around the house, plotting another prank.
Rita was always looking for something to do, which kept the rest of the kittens in suspense. Loud-voiced, foolish, she was also very charming.
“Rita kept herself immaculately clean (after eating) and ate very carefully, not even stepping into the bowl with the edge of her paw,” says Sarah.
“She could make a thousand plans to take over the world while licking her fingers, forcing you to approach her before she meows, as if to get your attention – this is also part of her plan.”
“Margarita is as exciting and hot as the corresponding beverage. a young diva with bravado and strong opinions. kind, amusing, and independent.
During the weeks at the overexposure, Rita finally formed as a person. She is now an adorable, fun-loving young cat.
Most of all, she loves to be a princess, to be in the center of attention at home.
When the time arrived for adoption, a good family was discovered right away.
The infant, who had a loud voice and a strong persona, came to Sarah for overexposure. She moved into the home of her dreams after reaching all of the milestones of growing up, where she became friends with the owners’ cat and dog even if they do not like her soul.
In less than a day, she conquered every one in the new place and felt at ease. “She will entertain them with her sassy antics and sweet hugs,” says Sarah.
The rest of the kittens from the brood were also safely attached. Like Rita, they found permanent owners.
