The mysterious cat has been spotted on Los Angeles’ streets for a while. Chris, a local animal activist, had to work very hard to capture mama as well as two of her kittens.
Animal rights advocate Wrenn Rescues in Southern California was informed of the facts. Jen Marder, a volunteer, kindly offered up her home for foster care.
“My mother (Rosa) was quite terrified when they came to me. She had never spent time indoors, so when she and her two kids suddenly found themselves in an extremely unexpected scenario, Jen remembers.
Two weeks later, the smallest of the two kittens died, despite the best efforts of the guardians. Mother Rosa did not let go of her remaining baby, King, from the arms day and night, pouring unspent love on him.
“When King got really strong, Mama Rosa got a lot friendlier,” Jen adds.
Realizing that her kitten was safe, Rosa began to interact with the guardians, and her attitude towards them warmed up. However, she never ceased to vigilantly follow every step of her child.
The responsible mother stayed in the nest all day, feeding and licking the only surviving kitten. When she forgot to eat, Jen brought food and water to her in bed, otherwise the cat would simply remain hungry.
King developed into a more lively, inquisitive, and energetic young man as he grew older.
Even during his most challenging games, Mama Rosa persevered and never skipped an opportunity to bathe the kitten. He always kept himself tidy and groomed.
The mischievous kitten has repeatedly tried to avoid forced baths, but as a result received only even more thorough washes.
“They are truly made for each other. It’s funny to see how King climbs up Rose’s face, and she just sits there and lets him do it!
The mother’s affection for her son never wanes. They are an inseparable duo.
“Where mom is, there is a kitten, and vice versa. You rarely see such a touching relationship between a mother and a child, ”says Jen.
Realizing how much these two mean to each other, the rescuers expect to attach them to one hand.
She isn’t fully domesticated yet, but she is no longer wild. She will occasionally approach, sniff my finger, and then rub her snout on it. She occasionally allows me to scratch her head and will purr loudly out of the blue, says Jen.
I sincerely hope the same family adopts them.

Meanwhile, the kitten enters adolescence, and the mother continues to patronize him. When he rushes around the room, playing with the guardian, the cat is always nearby and does not take his eyes off the baby.
