Кitten Вrothers Walked Тhe Streets Аnd Supported Еach Оther Dreaming Оf Тheir Нome

Two kittens without a mother were found close to Montreal (Canada). Both were looking for food, but at the same time they did not move away from each other. The neighbors noticed that the stray kittens were weak and became worried.

Local animal rights activist Nadia immediately responded when she saw a post on the Internet about two crumbs in trouble. She was able to capture both of them using a humane trap, removing them from the perilous street.

Before contacting Chatons Orphelins Montréal for assistance, her volunteer partner Josie first found temporary housing.

Once finally in the hands of activists, the kittens received medicines and professional care.

Brothers named Octave and Romus were about 12 weeks old. Both have “moles” on their noses, and in general they were incredibly close from the very beginning. Even at the veterinarian they kept side by side, it calmed them down.

“On arrival, they were really shy and terrified. Animal rights activist Celine Krom claims that the victims’ hearts “almost jumped out of their chests.”

“After the vet they went to foster care with Marilyn and quickly became friends with the cats there. Brothers, though timid, but affectionate and good-natured.

In the first week, they learned to adapt to the close proximity of people. Easily frightened by sudden movements or loud noises, they ran to each other for consolation.

The kitten brothers have been inseparable since they stepped on the threshold of their temporary home. Slowly but surely, they liberated themselves and began to treat their foster mother favorably.

“They are very close and always together. They sleep on the cat tree during the day. At night, they fall asleep on Marilyn’s bed, cuddling closer to her, ”says Celine.

The grey-white Romus is extremely curious. He can’t help but play with the toys and enjoy everything around him, even though he still feels a little embarrassed. Black and White Octave is more reserved and heavily dependent on his brother. “He studies what Romus does and follows his lead in everything.”

“Senior” Romus looks after Octave not to get lost, to be somewhere nearby. They constantly keep in sight of each other.

They even fall asleep in identical positions.

The brothers are growing more self-assured with each day that goes by, thanks in large part to the loving caregivers, cozy corners of the house, good food, comfortable beds, and cat toys.

Whatever they do, they do it together!

Close brothers have not been separated from the day they were picked up on the street.

One by one it is simply impossible to imagine them.

“Before they came to us, they had almost no contact with people. And now they are enjoying the life of pets, says Celine. They can require more patience and understanding from you at first, but once you gain their trust, they become the most adorable friends.

Sunbathing lying side by side on the windowsill is one of their favorite pastimes.

After spending about two months with the guardians, the brothers are ready for a new chapter.
