Вecause Нe “Looked Different” Тhe Little Кitten Was Вe Рut Down

When Cricket’s breeder noticed his cleft lip, crooked jaw, and missing eye, she determined she wouldn’t be able to sell him like she had planned to do with all of his siblings. She made the decision to kill him because she didn’t want anyone to know that she had produced a “imperfect” cat.

When the breeder revealed her plans to someone, that person realized she had to attempt to preserve tiny Cricket, so she sought a helpful person right away.

When Megan Boehm heard what the breeder was planning to do, she immediately said she would take Cricket in. She knew virtually nothing about him at the time, but she knew she couldn’t let him die. The breeder agreed to let her take the little kitten, and suddenly, Boehm became Cricket’s new mom.

“It wasn’t even a decision,” Boehm told . “I hadn’t even seen a photo of him but as soon as I heard his story, I knew I had to save him. There was no way I was letting a little kitten with some small disabilities be killed because he was born different. And when I saw him, it was love at first sight.”

Boehm initially brought Cricket home, and he was a little shambles. He was ill and badly underweight, indicating that the breeder had been ignoring him. On Cricket’s first day at home, Boehm, a college student, skipped class so that she could take care of him and make sure he was doing okay.

After a few days with love and care, Cricket grew stronger and started to mend. After being examined by a veterinarian, it looked like the unusual little kitten would be alright.

Cricket appeared at home when he arrived, according to Boehm. He desired to cuddle all day! He began to feel better after gaining some weight and receiving my unwavering affection.

From the very beginning, Boehm knew that Cricket was a little different and would likely have some challenges, but it never bothered her. To her, Cricket is just a cat, and as a result, Cricket has never really noticed that he’s any different, either.

He can only eat wet food because of his crooked jaw and cleft lip, but otherwise, he’s just like any other cat.

While Cricket definitely looks pretty different from a typical cat he’s also completely adorable, and his mom wouldn’t have him any other way.

Cricket, according to Boehm, “has truly given me meaning.” “I really anticipate seeing him every day. I look forward to cuddling him when I get home from work or school. Cricket always makes me feel better whether I’m anxious, depressed, or even angry. I can conquer the problems in life because of Cricket, who has overcome so much.
