About six months ago, Madeleine Meredith-Holton and her boyfriend found Leela under a car, and they knew they had to take her in.
She was carried inside, and after a short while, Meredith-Holton recalled, “she was snuggling up to us and felt completely at home.”
Leela is 8 months old now, and she still has a lot to learn about how the world works. She’s a very mischievous kitten and loves getting into things she’s not supposed to, like stealing snacks from the food bin or running away with the kitchen sponges.
Leela has a particular seat that she likes to sit on, so when she saw that a cookery magazine had taken it, she got up to look into it right once. The magazine included a colorful, good food image of food, and Leela thought she had to give it a taste because it looked so nice.
Leela thoroughly licked the magazine’s cover for a few minutes.
Afterward, she was a little perplexed as to why it hadn’t tasted as good as it had looked to.
