Pets are more than simply adorable, fluffy animals that we keep around the house for aesthetic purposes. They are capable of becoming our friends, allies, and even healers. It is true that our loving pets may enhance our health and happiness. But they aren’t their only skills. Our dogs occasionally turn into real-life heroes as well. Consider the domestic cat who saved the life of a little child.
People were left astonished after seeing a video of a cat saving a baby from falling down the stairs.
Recently, a viral video emerged posted by DLore Álvarez showing something you don’t see very often. Taken by the security cam, the video captured a little baby playing on the ground near her crib. Right next to her, on the sofa, an adorable cat was observing the child’s every move.
And then the video shows the reason why no one should ever leave their little kids in an unsafe environment alone – the baby started crawling forward towards the open door which led to the staircase.
Fortunately, the quick-thinking animal interrupted the toddler by playing with her. Whether on purpose or not, it is obvious that the child would have fallen down the steps and suffered catastrophic injuries if the cat hadn’t done that.
People rushed to hail the cat as a hero and praise her for her good deed. However, while it’s always nice to see a happy ending in videos like this one, the parents of the child also received some harsh criticism.
