Patrick Corr of Cork, Ireland, acquired Stevie the blind cat from a neighborhood animal shelter four years ago. Despite being blind, Stevie navigates with a combination of her senses. She has an acute sense of smell.
She is not a simple cat, she is an expert mountaineer and a natural explorer. She loves to accompany her dad on hikes in the beautiful Irish countryside and the surrounding mountains. When hiking, Stevie usually prefers to explore all by herself and follows her dad’s sounds.
Patrick’s life has been pretty busy and difficult after he had two babies and saved up to buy a house. But matter how his life changes, his cat continues to be a very important family member and his best friend.
Stevie has, and still is, an inspiration to Partrick because of her bravery, persistence, and immense love of life.
