We only have one basic wish: that there be more love in the world. It’s because love has the power to transform everything, and the best part is that it comes in a wide variety of expressions.
Many disadvantaged animals may overcome their challenges and return to a life full of pleasure and optimism with the love and care of kind people who are aiding animals in need.
Check out this account of Melody the crippled kitten, who decides to re-learn how to walk and chases after her siblings, if you don’t believe us. This amazing and motivating tale will brighten your day.
Melody was found by a good Samaritan and was taken in by Keely Thomas, a kitten foster who has dedicated her whole life to helping poor animals. She was born with swimmers syndrome – a congenital condition that causes her legs to splay out, so she was not able to put them forward and walk.
“When we put her on the floor, she would try to put her leg down, but it would slide,” Keely said.
Keely used medical tape to secure Melody’s legs so they couldn’t separate. Thankfully, she was perfectly capable of walking again when everyone took off her bandages and placed her on the ground. She loved jogging so much. She got going with Keely’s assistance, very literally.
