Hazel required a comfortable, clean space. She needed some home possibilities in order to feel at ease in the area. Hazel also needed a lot of care and affection.
Hazel needed love even though she was going to become a mother. She received a lot of calories as well as lots of belly rubs and love from her foster care.
When the big day arrived, the foster caregiver stayed calm and let Hazel do her thing. She kept a close eye on her, but she allowed Hazel to perform the process. Mama Hazel gave birth to 6 adorable kittens in this video clip.
It was helpful to new mom Hazel for her foster caregiver to weigh the kittens on a scale daily. This measurement would help ensure that each kitten was getting enough milk.
Hazel also wants her kittens to interact with people. To help the kittens develop their confidence and playfulness in their first few weeks of life, the foster carer required a lot of toys and room. For Hazel to get back to her regular cat life, she too needs to play.
Because she will have to say goodbye when the kittens are old enough, the foster carer cannot become overly close to them.
Finding each of these kittens the perfect home is the first priority. These stray cats want our assistance, and if they are expecting, there is even more urgency to provide them and their unborn kittens a comfortable place to live.
