Alana Hadley of Wisconsin obtained Ares from the Door County animal shelter.
Alana fell in love with the tiny ginger kitten at first sight since it like her own lost cat perfectly.
But, alas, something just wasn’t right from the start. Indeed, no matter how much Alana tried to comfort the little kitty, he would meow all day until he finally dropped off to sleep at night.
She even bought him a cuddly toy so he had something to cuddle and help comfort him.
However, his human mother soon had the impression that she understood what her son was trying to say.
When Alana first saw the two kittens, Ares and his sister Aphrodite, who had just arrived at the shelter with them, she immediately wanted to adopt both of them. However, Aphrodite was already in the process of being adopted by a different family.
It was now obvious that Ares missed his sibling and was grieving because he had been taken away from her.
The next day Alana learned that Aphrodite’s adoption had fallen through so she immediately took Ares to the shelter so he could be reunited with his sister.
As soon as they saw each other they were running around the room, chasing each other and having the time of their lives.
Once Alana adopted his sister, the two of them could live out the rest of their days together in their permanent home.
They both like cuddling and purr incessantly when we hold them. They snooze together and sleep for the majority of the day, according to Alana.
