A stray cat called Leon made the decision to seek shelter once it started to rain quite a bit. He entered the Brazilian Order of Attorneys and made it his new residence. However, several of the building’s visitors were enraged and started to file complaints about the cat being in the reception area as soon as it began to approach them. They said that the kitten was in the way and that a serious institution didn’t have room for him.
However, the OAB came up with a fantastic solution to stop these complaints. They hired the cat as a lawyer and gave him an employee badge. The cat will be responsible for welcoming the newcomers whether they like it or not. When Dr. Jeanette Laredo shared the good news on social media, it quickly went viral.
Now that he is well-known, Dr. Leon the lawyer cat even has his own Instagram account where more than 50,000 people follow him to stay up to date on his exploits and animal law.
“We are completing the paperwork to establish an institution for animal rights. Its name is Dr. Leon Institute. Since we are unable to accommodate every animal, we will donate money to local NGOs. We shall serve as a role model for Brazil.
He is now immensely beloved by everyone. Even those who didn’t like him eventually became accustomed to him and enjoyed his company.
President Auriney’s sofa is his favorite spot, and he enjoys playing with his toys, according to the lawyer cat’s agents, who also mentioned that the employee is fed ordinary cat food.
