Percy has been quite hyperactive since he was a kitten. He likes his family dearly and spends the most of his time trying to win their attention, which is typically not too difficult.
According to Percy’s mother, Jessy Robinson, “He loves being lifted up but dislikes pats.” He cries for attention and bites (usually not hard). We all adore him a great deal.
Usually Percy has the house to himself while everyone is at work, but recently, his mom has had to start working from home — and Percy couldn’t be more excited about it.
“I started WFH three weeks ago,” Robinson said. “He was thrilled. He is an attention seeker!”
Percy is now there waiting for Robinson to arrive at work each day, attempting to be a colleague.
… but so far, she has a few complaints to file to HR about him.
If Robinson is at her computer, Percy is there too, and he definitely has some interesting suggestions when it comes to productivity and workflow. For the most part, she’s able to work around him — but the more she works, the harder Percy tries to distract her. That’s the deal.
He tries to capture my attention for at least half of the day, according to Robinson. He snoozes on the floor or chair next to me for the remainder of the day.
While Percy is ecstatic to have his mother at home with him all day and doesn’t fully understand why she must go to work rather than play with him all day, he won’t give up trying to persuade her differently.
