Lulu’s life altered drastically two years ago. She was then transformed from a dejected shelter cat to her mother’s cherished companion.
Since then, Lulu has been saying “thank you” in her own unique manner.
After being adopted and settled into her loving new home for a few months, Lulu started an endearing daily habit. Lulu started bringing her owner slippers every morning, gathering them from wherever her mother had taken them off the day before, after learning that her owner loved to put them on her feet after waking up.
Lulu always makes two journeys since she can only carry one slipper at once.
Kayla, the owner of Lulu, said to The Dodo, “My mom was astonished [the first time it happened]. She gave Lulu encouragement by wearing the drool-covered slippers. The habit did really stick.

That was just the first trip, of course.
Kayla’s mother had told her that Lulu would bring her slippers to her each morning, but Kayla had assumed it was a joke.
“I didn’t believe her until she got it on camera,” Kayla said.
But now the whole world knows about the sweet cat’s gesture.
The message is obvious when you examine Lulu’s heart, even though it may be impossible to read her thoughts to understand her conduct.
Since my mom takes such amazing care of her, it seems like all she wants to do is take care of my mom, Kayla said.
