On their way to Starbucks one day, Jacob and Beverly saw something unusual on the road. They didn’t realize the little creature was a kitten until it started moving, crawl, and wiggle.
At that moment, they knew they had do something to help the poor kitten, so they picked her up and brought her home.
The kitten was unable to walk or crawl, so the couple took her to a nearby veterinarian for an examination. They made her feel secure and warm by cleaning her, feeding her, and comforting her. They chose to retain her and name her Macchiato since they didn’t want to give her to someone they couldn’t trust.
It took her a few weeks to acclimate. Under the love and care of the couple, she started to play and was able to come out and be social with the other animals.
She’s incredibly curious, friendly and wants love and attention all the time. She is definitely a big cuddle bug.
Doris, Macchiato’s furry sister, is a huge fan of her. Doris warmly greets the newcomer to the group, instructing her on proper grooming techniques and ensuring that she is completely clean. She also instructs Macchiato on how to handle the household dog. Macchiato is an important member of the family.
