A lonely kitty was discovered living beneath a home. Because he was little and frail, he was unable to care for himself and required the assistance of an animal rescuer. Thankfully, a kind man named Josh came to the kitten’s rescue.
When Josh found the kitten, he picked him up and checked on him to make sure he was ok. The man wanted to bring him inside to keep him safe and warm, but his friends told him that he should wait because the kitten’s family might come back to look for him. So, Josh placed the kitten right where he found him and waited for his family.
Josh went to check on the cat the next day, and he was still there. He took the cat in and cared for him without hesitation. Josh had never taken care of a kitten before, so he took him to a professional animal rescuer who showed him how to care for him.
Josh decided to take in the kitten as a foster and care for him until he could find him a permanent home. Josh did everything he could to ensure the kitten’s growth, strength, and health.
Josh had no intention of becoming a cat father, and he didn’t even believe he loved cats before meeting the small kitten, but his mind was changed. He fell in love with the cat and realized he couldn’t imagine his life without her.
When it was time to find the kitten a forever home, Josh decided to become the kitten’s dad and take care of him forever. He adopted the kitten and named him Smokey.
