A few months ago, some people found a poor kitten on North Carolina’s streets. It was in bad shape. Fleas literally sucked it dry, and its eyes were so infected that he couldn’t even open them. The kitten was only a month old when it was brought to the Murphy’s Law animal shelter.
The shelter’s founder, Sarah Kelly, didn’t hesitate to take the kitten in and help it. She took it to the center’s veterinarians, who prescribed a variety of therapies, including medications for the ailment.
It was clear that the kitten had a long battle ahead. The good news is that he responded to the therapy properly, and he wasn’t shy about food too.
After just a week, it already showed big improvements. He finally opened his eyes and started purring. Sarah named the poor kitten Meep, and just a few days after his arrival, she was contacted for another kitten found in the same location.
Sarah was completely unaware that they were from the same litter. The poor kitten was in horrible health as well, but with Sarah’s aid, he recovered. This kitten was named Molly, and when Sarah encountered Meep for the first time, she recognized he was her brother.
The two kittens were very identical and clearly shared a special affinity. The fact that they were able to meet has hastened their advancement. They were running around like crazy in only a few days!
The two siblings were placed in a foster home after receiving medical clearance. They form a charming pair, and Sarah hopes that someone will adopt them both since they operate best together.
