Pistachio is a cute stray cat that lives on the streets of Los Angeles. The unfortunate kitten has no family or one to look after her, but she has an extraordinary desire to survive and will never give up.
Pistachio started wandering from house to house, meowing at top of his lungs. But despite her best efforts, no one walked up to her and took her in.
Thankfully, an animal rescue group called Alley Cat Rescue found Pistachio when she was three months old. As a volunteer of the rescue group, Desiree quickly decided that she would save this tiny stray kitten.
Pistachio was standing on a porch, meowing as loudly as she could, when Desiree arrived. Pistachio was carried inside Desiree’s home and given a much-needed wash. The poor kitty was covered in grime and fleas to the point that the bathwater turned crimson.
After that, Desiree found a foster home for Pistachio, and the small cat was so delighted to finally have foster parents who love her. Pistachio is now full of life and enthusiasm after a week at the foster home.
Despite her difficult start, Pistachio has retained her lovely attitude and continues to trust others. This kitty deserves a terrific home after everything she’s been through, and she’s still waiting for one.
“Open your arms and she settles in for a cuddle! She is quick to purr and show how happy she is!” Desiree says.
