A kind woman from Sydney, Australia, noticed two young cats wandering around her property and realized they were completely attached. They seemed malnourished, and as she began feeding them, she recognized there was something unusual about these twin brothers.
However, when the three-week-old kittens appeared to be in distress, they did exactly what any sensible cat person would do and took them to the vet.
It turns out that kittens were born with a condition that caused their eyelids to curl inwards and press against their pupils. The kittens required extensive medical care, which the woman was unable to provide.
The woman approached numerous local rescues, but no one was willing to accept them until Inner City Strays heard about the two kittens and offered to help. Stevie and Isaac were the names of the couple.
Despite their physical problems, both cats were pleasant and active during their clinic appointment. Unfortunately, Isaac developed sores in his eyes, and Stevie became completely blind, necessitating a surgical procedure to remove the Blin eyes due to the risk of infection.
The vet had already constructed an eyelid for Isaac, which would help protect his one eye.
“Stevie and Isaac continued playing if nothing had happened less than 24 hours after their bi surgeries,” says the author.
Stevie is completely blind, so she relies on her brother Isaac to guide her around the world. If e ets confused or agitated, e calls out for Isaac, who rushes over to offer guidance and comfort. They never seem to be far away from each other.

A year has passed, and the twins have finally settled into their new home, and their family adores them.
“We adore them,” their fellow humans declared. “We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have discovered them.” They are stunning and provide us with unending love. We’d desired cats for a long time but never imagined we’d end up with kitties who are so beautiful.”
