When Jacob Wedlund was hunting for a new companion for his family’s beloved cat, Ralph, he came upon a kitten named Moly. This fluffy resembled a teddy bear and was without a home.
“When we initially met, he was really hesitant (due to a difficult scenario at his prior house),” Jacob recalls.
As they brought him to the car, the kitty lapped nonstop. “ We opened the carrier, and he immediately fell asleep on mommy’s shoulder, sleeping the entire trip. He finally felt at ease and secure.
The little bear cub was timid and a little frightened, but could not restrain his curiosity. He studied every corner of his new room, without moving, however, especially far from people.
“Somehow he immediately felt safe with us. Every time we left the room, he started meowing and didn’t stop until we returned.”
Jacob and his wife didn’t get any sleep the first night, so they kept the kitten company and reassured him that he was at home. Moli immediately discovered how much he wanted to snuggle up in his new owners’ arms in a human bed.
The kitty gradually got more relaxed and confident. When he met Ralph, a neighborhood cat, the procedure proceeded much faster.
“It was love at first sight, at least from Moli. Ralph’s growl or hiss didn’t seem to frighten him for once. He rushed towards him, not understanding the road, ”says Jacob.
When Ralph let the kitten into his arms, he purred with happiness.
“Moly has a clingy personality. He enjoys following Ralph, imitating his routines, and cuddling with him. Ralph, on the other hand, enjoys being alone. They eventually play together on Ralph’s terms.”
The darling kitty has become rather devoted to his gorgeous family and follows them around like a shadow.
“When we sit up or lie down in bed, he likes to lie on our feet,” Jacob explains, “and he also likes to stand in the middle of the doorway so that all roads go through it.”
Most of all, he enjoys being looked after and carried on the handles.
He enjoys it when we pay attention to him, such as when we brush his fur. He purrs and falls asleep like a baby as he’s cutting his nails.
Moli insists on hugs whenever she can. He is very affectionate, and if he hasn’t seen his family in a long time, he starts looking for them.
Jacob is unable to reject him and gladly performs all of the cat’s requests.
Moly is now pretty large. He adores his close-knit family and never fails to show it, a kind young man.
