Emily’s husband prefers cats, while she prefers dogs. The couple went to a few shelters to adopt a cat, but Emily had no feelings toward them.
Everything miraculously changed once she and her husband encountered Ella, a senior cat.
When Emily first saw Ella, the cat came up to her and immediately licked her. She felt like she loved this cat already and decided to bring it home.
Ella, despite her age, only wants to be with her humans. It was fascinating to see how quickly she adapted to her parents.
Emily was watching “The Grinch” one day when she saw Ella was also a fan. The cat came to a complete stop and gazed at it the entire time. She is completely engrossed in the film.
If she’s interested in a movie, she will sit down and look at it. The movie is the one thing that makes her calm down. Watching movies has definitely become part of their routine. Movies brought them closer together.
“Everyone is terrified of elderly cats or animals in general. But it’s all worth it, and I wouldn’t exchange her for anything.”
Emily stated, “I absolutely adore her with everything I have.”
