A rare type of adorable dwells in a home in the woods not far away. Meet five adorable Cornish Rex kittens, all of them are just four days old.
This breed of cat was created by chance in Cornwall, England, in the 1950s as a consequence of a mutation.
They were immediately on the scene and the first thing they did was surround the manhole cover with fencing to ensure that they would be visible to all the cars that visited the lot.
The idea was to block either end of the drain to get the kittens into the smallest area possible. They decided to put a basketball inside one of their nets so it would fill the pipe and prevent the kittens from escaping.
They found that the area was infested with cockroaches — ugh! But it didn’t stop them, and one of them went into the sewer to look for the kittens.
They realized they required more than two pairs of hands when all of the escape routes were closed and requested assistance. It was now time to begin the rescue operation.
They swiftly caught two kittens, but they required more extreme means to grab their siblings. The mother was still nowhere to be seen.
They ultimately got all of the kittens into the carrier with the assistance of traps, nets, blankets, and several pairs of hands. The locals were overjoyed that the tall six kittens had finally been rescued and were on their way to the shelter.
They named the kittens after the Spice Girls, but the quest wasn’t finished yet; they needed to find their mother.
