A Canadian woman from Montreal was wandering in the lawn near her home a few months ago when her dog saw a little fluffy. When the woman got close enough, she noticed a frail, underweight kitten.
There was no mother cat around, and the kitten had no brothers or sisters. After bringing the baby home and feeding and watering it, the mother began contacting animal rights advocates.
Lotus, the kitten, was basically skin and bones. He’d most likely fought off his brood a long time ago.
The kitten was so humiliated that it refused to leave its carrier. When the volunteers opened a can of cat food, he couldn’t stop himself from eating too much.
The lotus quickly gobbled all of the food before bursting into a purr for the first time.
The kitten’s veterinarian, Emmanuelle from the Chatons Orphelins Montréal clinic, believed that he needed someone’s affection more than anything else. The girl volunteered to be the baby’s guardian and promised to socialize with him as well as provide all of his requirements.
Every spare minute at home, Emmanuel unlived the Lotus. The baby quickly understood he wasn’t alone and grew more relaxed.
The kitten seemed to like the caress, so the girl began hugging him even more frequently so he wouldn’t feel deprived.
The lotus developed a strong bond with its caretaker. He’s gone to work with her previously, and he feels like a fish out of water in her bathrobe pocket.
The kitten grew a good amount of weight and got more cuter. He enjoys being carried in his arms because it provides him with a sense of security.
The youngster is quite fortunate in that he has found himself a responsible individual! We hope he meets only wonderful people on his journey through life!
