Layla D’Souza, the founder of the Winston Memorial Foundation, acquired a ginger tabby found in the park a few weeks ago. He required assistance since he was frail and malnourished.
The child searched the park for his mother, but she was nowhere to be seen. “None of his siblings lived to tell the story. “I called him Thor (after the Marvel superhero) since he had to fight right away,” Layla explains.
Thor was placed in foster care, where he could heal peacefully under the supervision of a guardian. “He was a little shy when he initially came. “But every day he became stronger and more trusting,” recalls Thor’s adoptive mother, Khanin Alrabea.
Thor was able to recuperate from his ordeal thanks to decent food, comfy surroundings, and compassionate care. Following that, he demanded attention.
Alani, Khanin’s beloved cat, heard the kitten’s voice (which was already healthy at this point) and went into the nursery to investigate. The tabby child realized he wasn’t the only cat in the home, so he set out to make friends with her.
When they had a proper introduction, the kitten raced over to Alani, bursting with the want to poke her in the face as a hello. Alani felt a little embarrassed by the pressure, especially when Thor started following her around the home.
“Alani was not happy to have another cat in the home,” Khanin adds, “but he persisted to approach her, even when she snarled and growled.”
Alani was stubbornly captured by the striped whale, who would not take any refusals. He sought to cuddle up to her at every chance, following her step by step.
Alani’s attitude toward him was transformed by the relentless cat, who replaced his hissing with a purr and snarling with licking. “At the end of the day, she accepted it.”
Thor felt safe around his new best friend. He became her little shadow and even tried to imitate her actions during the game. Alani took the kitten under her wing and showered her with love.
“Now they are very close, they love to sleep and cuddle together, but most of all they love to play catch-up and wrestling,” says Khanin.
Alani, like Thor, was an adopted kid who came into Khanin’s life. She now provides the same affection to the kitten that she previously got as a child.
“We’re overjoyed that he has someone to snuggle and play with.” “They also have a similar appearance,” Leila adds. Thor is a powerful and steadfast warrior. He had a great mother, Alani, who adopted him as her own despite the fact that he had lost everything.”
The kitty is content; he is relieved to have someone to look up to and rely on. Alani, an adult, teaches him cat skills and, most importantly, makes him feel loved.
“Thor is a vivacious and amusing character. “He’s one of the toughest, toughest cats I’ve ever raised,” Khanin adds.
