Adoption is hard for solitary cats, and it’s even more difficult when they’re in pairs. However, there are situations when splitting a pair of mates is difficult. Fluffy and Floss, two best friends cats with a 10-year age difference who are presently in the RSPCA’s care, have been in this situation thus far.
Fluffy is a 15-year-old tabby, while Floss is a 10-year-old white kitten. Both cats are timid and prefer to spend time with each other. Instead of separating the two, the RSPCA in Canterbury is hoping to adopt them. Of course, they are aware that it is difficult, but we feel that there are still decent individuals in the world.
Unfortunately, both Floss and Fluffy are afraid of interacting with humans and will require some training. The new owner will have to be patient and give the cats the space they require. It shouldn’t take long — they’ll emerge from their shells and win over their new owner’s heart in a matter of weeks or months.
