Animal rights activists from North Carolina’s Sparkle Cat Rescue presented a trio of kitties. The cow-colored orphans were just a few days old, their eyes hadn’t opened yet, and they required immediate attention and bottle feeding.
The kittens were immediately placed in housing with an incubator to prevent overexposure and maintain a normal body temperature. The babies struggled without their mother’s milk, but luckily, an experienced caregiver, Sarah Kelly, came to their rescue just in time.
She kept the kittens warm, fed and cared for them around the clock, and provided them with lots of soft toys to snuggle with. The kittens began to put on weight and even lost their ability to speak.
The cow kittens were named after desserts Graham, Marshmallow, and Hershey. After a few days, their eyes opened slightly, and the kittens began to look around, trying to understand what was around them.
The kids turned out to be voracious eaters, Sarah only had time to fill the bottles.
The other two shouted eagerly for their turn as she fed one hungry mouth. The kittens were full of activity and a drive to become large and powerful even at such a young age.
Marshmallow was the team’s sleepiest member, whereas Graham was the team’s loudest talker.
Having eaten, they arranged a fuss and then fell asleep together in one fluffy pile.
Happy kittens pawed and pulled fingers in bliss.
Marshmallow is the calmest and gentlest of the kittens, a purring enthusiast. Graham, her brother, is the one who always has something to say, and he says it loudly, especially around feeding time.
Hershey is the older sister who the other two idolize. “She taught Graham how to polish his pink fingertips by licking them,” Sarah explains.
Sarah’s cat, Tio, has always been fond of kittens. And he came to offer our heroes a piece of his heart and to impart feline knowledge.
“They like hugging and sunbathing with their adoring big brother, Tio,” Sarah adds.
Hershey, who adores Tio, crammed himself into his cat tree.
Sweet kittens have fully developed by the age of puberty. They purr regularly and are lively, curious cats.
They are ready to go forward in their lives after spending two months in foster care.
The kids are alive and well and growing up at home, surrounded by love, thanks to the rescues and volunteers.
Graham, Marshmallow, and Hershey have been adopted and are having the time of their lives with their new families.
