Daniel at the ready for this heartbreaking tale. In the pouring rain, Daniel Martinez discovered a black cat underneath a vehicle. The cat would not move from her perch and appeared to be in shock.
As a result, he decided that the best line of action was to contact an animal rescue organization to see what they could do. The cat was still sitting in the same location when they arrived and had been for several hours.
They attempted to entice her out with food, but she refused. Even when they revved the engine and tried to move the automobile, she wouldn’t move.
It was time to call the vet and when she arrived it was discovered that there were some stillborn kittens around. Sadly this kitty had gone into premature labor, perhaps she had an accident that had started this terrible chain of events.
Whatever the reason it was now imperative they got her out from under the car because she may still have a stillborn inside her which needed to be removed. With the rain still pouring down the vet began her rescue and thankfully managed to get her to safety.
Her pelvis had been fractured, and she had most likely been hit by a car, so she was transported to the clinic. There were no stillborn kittens within her, thankfully. They fixed her up, and it was expected that she would recover completely.
She was still depressed, and the clinic staff came up with the ideal answer. Someone needed to look after a small cat who had lost his mother.
When they first introduced him, the mother cat was completely uninterested.
Her eyes then welled up and she began to cry. It was a watershed moment because she started cuddling and cleaning the tiny cat.
What a comfort it was to know that these two kittens were there to support each other through their grief.
And the narrative comes to a nice conclusion. The guy who discovered her beneath the car approached the clinic, seeking to adopt her because he believes they were destined to be together and he wants to do everything he can to provide her with a happy life.
So, after she’s completely recovered, she’ll be moving into her permanent home to begin a new life.
