The tabby cat has a harsh demeanor and a slew of war scars. Life has been difficult for the youngster. Many citizens of Montreal, Canada, spotted Pada on the streets, but they were accustomed to seeing him.

Aya observed the cat a few months ago and couldn’t get beyond it. Padu was terrified of people, so the woman began feeding him every day to help him gain confidence.

The cat gradually decreased the distance between himself and his benefactress, yet he quickly moved away whenever she attempted to caress him. Aya wasn’t about to give up.

As the summer drew to a close, Padu’s condition worsened and he started having trouble breathing. The kind woman could not let the poor man once again feel the power of the Canadian winter.

The tabby cat has been seen many times on patios, on sidewalks, and under parked cars, but so far no one has wanted to deal with his fate.

Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local animal rights organization, was approached by Aya. They put humane traps across the region with the help of other volunteers.

This idea was quickly revealed to be ineffective.

Padu, an experienced vagrant, was wary of traps and expertly dodged them. The rescuers then decided to switch tactics.

They continued to bring food, but this time they tried to give the cat at least a portion of the treat from their hands, allowing the cat to become accustomed to human touch. “He warmed up a little after a few more weeks and even allowed himself to be stroked,” the Chatons Orphelins Montréal team said.

Finally, they were able to seize the hairy bully and stuff it into a container. “Wandering the streets isn’t living; it’s a battle to stay alive.” We did all we could to give him a true existence, so we went all out.”

Padu was already in bad shape when he arrived at the veterinarian’s facility. “He had trouble breathing and was infested with fleas, worms, and other parasites.” From street fights, his ears were torn. “A test for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) has come back positive.”

His caregivers put him on antibiotics and sent him to a foster home, where a long story of recovery began.

“He somehow immediately became quiet and sweet, as if he realized that he was in good hands. He allowed himself to be trusting again.”

Padu quickly became used to his new surroundings. He went to foster mom Morgan or foster dad Benjamin when he needed love. Morgan’s tail was frequently seen wandering around the home.

“If she sits at the computer, he sits next to her and watches,” said the rescuers.

“During the day, Padu enjoys playing and running, and at night, he rests on his mother’s feet.” He strives to stay close to her at all times.

In the company of other cats or new people, the cat is a bit frightened, but as soon as you show him your affection, he transforms into a sweet teddy bear.

Pad liked to feel like a little darling.

He hopes to find a home for endless vacations and boundless hugs with a family that will take him forever.
