Last summer, a pregnant stray cat entered a London mansion and changed her life, as well as the life of the homeowner, forever.
The cat entered the home of Paris Zarsil, a British Indian film director. He was surprised to find a completely unusual black and white cat under his bed when he woke up one morning at his London home.
And the cat wasn’t alone; there were four newborn kittens right next to her.
Zarsila tweeted that day, “Looks like I can call myself dad.”
The man did not know whose cat this was and why she chose his house, but he felt responsible for her and her cubs. He decided to help the kids and the cat, feed, and care for them.
He also wrote to the local animal rescue group’s Facebook page, where he was instructed that the most important thing is not to separate the cat and kittens, since the kittens may perish if they are separated. He was given guidance on how to feed the babies while he was there.
Zarsila’s Twitter feed became almost entirely dedicated to photographs of kittens and the man’s statements that they were “extremely moving” and “gave a lot of joy to his life” over the following few weeks.
