Melia and Karina, twin sisters who work at the Austin Animal Center, adopted a pregnant cat. “She was quite pleasant. Even when she drank water, she purred and wiggled her paws so cutely,” the sisters said.
The striped Aurora fell into labor shortly after the housewarming. Her birth was tough, but her caretakers were there every step of the way. Five kittens made it out alive.
“This is the last time she will have to deal with this.” What would happen if she gave birth on the street, I keep thinking.
Simba, one of the kittens, immediately distinguished himself from the others. He clung to Aurora and fought for her attention at all times. He remained up late to spend time with his mother as the other babies snoozed in a huddle.
As a result, the striped youngster sipped his mother’s milk through one muzzle while his brothers and sisters slept, and he quickly grew into the litter’s biggest child.
With all of her children, Aurora is a great, kind mother, but Simba desired to be her number one.
He made Aurora notice him by crawling on her or chewing her ears out of deep devotion.
“She was very patient and took good care of the kittens. In addition, she is a friendly cat who always appreciates the affection and attention of people,” the sisters say.
As soon as Aurora tried to be alone, she found her little shadow next to her – her son. Baby Simba preferred to be near her, rather than cuddle with the rest of the kittens.
Weeks passed, and fluffy youth began to masterfully run around the home. Simba remained in close proximity to his mother.
While the other kittens were too preoccupied with their raucous feline battles, he spent most of his time with Mama, sipping and drinking milk.
Aurora adores all children, but Simba has won her heart with his unending care.
He began to kiss and softly bite his mother’s face as soon as he learned to wash.
When it was time to place Simba and Aurora in excellent hands, a couple from Dallas fell in love with them.
They felt they needed to separate them and provide mother and son a permanent home together.
As a result, a cat and a kitten who were bonded together were adopted as a couple, and Simba’s brothers and sisters were also adopted in pairs.
Simba (renamed Dandy) snuggled close to his mother (renamed Serifu) on his first day at home and explored a bit. They seized all of the chairs in the workplace in the blink of an eye and began to responsibly supervise their employees’ work.
A few months have passed since their happy housewarming, and Dandy has already caught up with Serif in size. They continue to love and kiss each other, and their bond only grows.
