Сat Won’t Stop Тrying Тo Вreak Into Нer Сhildren’s School

Luna’s family adopted her in September, and they’ve been her pack ever since. She is fiercely protective of her family and enjoys following them around, even when they leave the house.

Heather Lucier Luna’s mother, Heather Lucier Luna, said, “She likes going on walks with us.” “She’ll show us the route and make sure we’re traveling in the direction she wants us to go on a frequent basis!”

It’s adorable, and folks in the area have told me it’s the prettiest thing they’ve ever seen. She used to accompany us across the street and to the other side of the school to pick up the kids’ free school lunches back in 2022, I’d like to assume to make sure we were OK and returning home again since we’d been home.

Now that Luna’s human siblings are back to doing in-person school, she loves to walk them there whenever she can. They live right around the corner from the school, so it’s a super easy walk, and everyone at the school now recognizes Luna and loves to see her there.

It’s never been a problem — until Luna decided she wanted more.

Luna decided one day that rather than merely escorting her humans to school, she wanted to join them in class. She tried to sneak into school, but since everyone knows who she is, her plot was immediately thwarted when the school phoned her mother.

“I panicked out when I discovered it was the front office,” Lucier explained, “thinking one of my kids was hurt or sick.” “Thankfully, they contacted to say, ‘While I adore Luna and have no problem with her hanging here… she’s following people into the school.’

I apologized repeatedly before literally throwing on a jacket and running over to get Luna before she got herself in any real trouble! I do appreciate the fact that the person who called was laughing and told me that Luna was so sweet and not a problem … other than trying to sneak into the school.”

Lucier dashed over to the school before Luna arrived, and as soon as she did, Luna behaved as if nothing unusual had happened.

“I was a little further away from the main doors she was attempting to get through when I shouted, ‘LUNA!’ and who came running?” “Lucier described Luna as “meowing joyously with her tail up in delight as she pranced across the meadow to me.”

“My kid smiled and said he wanted she’d come to his class because his class has a board of class pets, and it’d be wonderful to just bring Luna into the classroom because it’d be so much cooler than a photo,” Lucier explained.

Fortunately, there’s still hope, because no one doubts that Luna will try to sneak back into the school one day.
