Тhe Сat Аdopted А Нungry Кitten From Тhe Street Аnd Тook Нim Тo Нis Нouse With A Full Bowl

Klarike (@la riek) and his family reside on an ancient farm in the Netherlands. Jack, Louie, and Stavros are their three adult cats. The last one was rescued from the streets of Greece a year ago.

“Stavros got lost and became unwell. He was picked up by a female, a fellow countryman, who visits Zakynthos every summer. Clarique adds, “She was seeking for a home (for a cat) in Holland, so we chose to adopt.”

“My husband and I agreed that this would be the last cat, claiming that three is plenty.”

However, last month a kitten appeared in their yard from somewhere, very shy and thin. Clarique had never seen him before and wondered if he had owners.

The kitten visited again, and this time Clarike was surprised to find him in the company of her cat Stavros. You would think that these two are good friends. The red-white cat began to patronize the tabby kitten and look after him while he frolic in the garden.

All in front of Stavros, the small stranger began slipping into the yard through the tomato beds and ultimately cut a hole in their barn (connected directly to the house). The owners could only confess that their cat and the new one became fast friends.

During their naps, they played together and clung to each other in the barn. The kitty avoided people like the plague, but he adored a relative with whom he chances to become acquainted.

“I was feeding our three cats in the kitchen once, but Stavros refused to eat and simply stood there,” Clarique recalls.

When the woman peered into his bowl, she was pleasantly delighted to see that a stray cat had joined the shared supper and had eaten in place of Stavros. The ginger cat seemed unconcerned and served the street visitor a big supper as if recognizing his need after months of wandering.

I put the kitten food in another full container, but he ran away when he noticed me. “He apparently had just entered the kitchen because he was suffering from hunger.”

Clarique started preparing an extra amount of food for the guest from that day on in the hope of winning his love. The kitten was taught to feed this way and began to favor his benefactor.

No one was looking for the kitten, and he himself, apparently, began to consider the place where he was fed his home. People decided to name the baby Charlie. “Stavros acted like a parent towards him, the kitten began to spend more time with him in the barn during the day.”

Charlie was still afraid of people, but he looked at Stavros and wanted to imitate him in everything. Gradually, the idea of settling inside the house ceased to seem so unusual to the kitten.

Charlie moved into his now-home a few weeks after his initial appearance in the garden, and Stavros was there to encourage him. As though following a tour guide on a trip, the cat trailed behind the elder buddy through all of the rooms.

“It’s time to confess that Charlie has joined our household, and we now have four cats.” When it was time for dinner, he walked into the kitchen, let us pet him, and even rubbed himself.”

Charlie didn’t know how to use the tray at first, but after a few days, he had mastered the key skills of home life.

Clarique adds, “I believe Stavros taught him how to do it.”

Charlie was transported to the veterinarian facility, where he got all of his immunizations and the kitten’s health was confirmed. He still prefers to spend most of the day with Stavros at the top of the steps, but he is getting calmer by the day.

Nice young man with a rich upbringing. He’ll never have to be concerned about food or a place to live again.
