One of life’s best pleasures is waking up next to a gorgeous kitty.
At the very least when you have a cat. And when the cat you wake up next to is that cat.
Otherwise, it’s more of a humorous prank from life. Just ask Jacey Jonnson, who was both amused and perplexed when she awoke to discover a weird feline staring at her.
However, after shaking off the final vestiges of sleep, she noticed that the little feline next to her was not one of her cats.
It was a stranger who had crept into her room and made himself at home on her bed.
Jonnson was naturally taken aback when he awoke next to a strange cat.
Meanwhile, the small cat was laying on a pillow, his head on his cushion, lazily staring at her as if it were the most normal thing in the world for him to be there.
Jonnson was initially perplexed as to who the small cat was and where he’d come from, but she quickly realized she remembered him from someplace.
She remembered seeing him around her apartment complex multiple times.
The small cat, whom Jonnson dubbed “Flearoy” but whose real name is “Felix,” had paid visits to numerous of her neighbors and welcomed himself into their houses.
He was definitely a gregarious and inquisitive young cat.
Jonnson took the cat outdoors after uncovering the mystery.
Felix, on the other hand, kept coming back in through the cat flap. He wasn’t in a hurry to get back home.
Jonnson then took to Facebook in the hopes of finding his owner, and her post has since been shared, liked, and commented on hundreds of times.
People are absolutely delighted by the funny situation and have gotten a good laugh out of it.
And the letter did reach Felix’s owners, who arrived to retrieve their daring feline.
According to his family, he and his brother are both small adventurers who frequently go on long and exciting trips.
Felix made himself at home in Jonnson’s house while waiting for his family to fetch him up and even helped himself to some water from the toilet.
Felix is not the only stray cat to appear at Jonnson’s home; once, she had up to six cats enter through the cat flap in one day.
Jonnson says that cats often tend to sneak in when it is raining and that she might have to upgrade her cat flap to a microchip sensitive one.
That does sound like a smart idea, but on the other hand, we’d love to hear some more hilarious stories like this one.
Felix is safely safe at home, but we’re sure he’ll be off on new and exciting adventures before we know it.
For those of us who have fallen in love with the little rascal, his family has created an Instagram account for him where we can get all the beautiful Felix-content we could ever want.
