Noemi Camacho discovered a stray cat near her home. The cat returned to ask for more food and water when the woman delivered it to her. Their friendship became stronger. Noemi discovered her feline companion was pregnant and in need of assistance earlier this month.
Shortly after the cat went into labor, the woman picked her up from the alley and drove her home. There were four kittens born. Noemi was astonished to see that one kitten had a twisted paw and the other had just three limbs when she examined the newborns.
Jacqueline DeAmore, the co-founder of Friends for Life RescueNetwork, came across Noemi’s request and instantly replied. “I happened to see a post on Facebook where she appealed for aid from her friends,” Jacqueline says.
The mother cat, Nymeria, was ashamed and anxious when she arrived to the Friends for Life RescueNetwork. She let the rescuers investigate the kittens while she kept a close eye on them.

Jacqueline started physical therapy for Troy, a kitten with a twisted paw. “The tendons are too short and too tight. We hope to fully develop the foot with massage and stretching.”
In a few days, the condition of the deformed limb improved, so Jacqueline continued her daily physical therapy under the strict supervision of her mother.
“With massage, I can restore Troy’s paw and fingers back to a natural, relaxed position.” “Our objective is to continue massaging him many times a day so that the troublesome tendons eventually become used to the proper position,” Jacqueline explains.
Gunther, the three-legged wonder, is already wandering around the manger, keeping pace with his siblings and sisters.
The lack of one leg does not appear to slow him down.
The mother cat is overjoyed with her offspring and loves the convenience of temporary shelter.
“She adores them and is constantly concerned about them.” I fed her in a nursery-sized box at first since she would not leave her children even for food, explains Jacqueline. She now purrs and brushes against my legs as I go in. She enjoys scratching her chin.”
Naimeria returned to the woman who had given her kindness and was just in time for aid. Her kittens were delivered in a secure facility, not in an open alley.
