In the Washington area, the couple came upon an abandoned baby kitten on the street. They enlisted support as soon as they realized the infant required round-the-clock bottle feeding.
“At the age of two days, the daughter came to us.” According to Susie H., a Humane Rescue Alliance volunteer, it looks to have been dropped by a wild cat from the well-known Washington feline colony. “After feeding or being touched, the kitten had a loud purr that became louder and louder.”
Despite her small stature, the girl, Petunia (called Tuna), turned out to be rather chatty. She wanted to chat about a lot of things right away as she woke up, so she meowed loudly until she was held.
“When I was making phone calls for work or writing in my home office, she would sit on my lap so she wouldn’t be alone,” Susie adds.
As the baby grew, so did her character. She fell in love with the cat Ari, who lives in the house, who volunteered to be a nanny for her when Susie needed to move away. The cat ran to check the little one, it was worth crying.
“Tuna couldn’t survive on its own. “She wanted to snuggle while she was awake,” Susie explains. “I used to put it in my sweater pocket when I was doing housework so she could watch what I was doing, which she appreciated.”
On the same day that the baby was discovered, the individuals who discovered her fell in love with her. They couldn’t quit thinking about her and continued inquiring about her well-being with the rescuers. They grew more connected to her every time they saw her adorable face.
A few weeks later, Susie brought home a new pupil named Closie. Tuna, about a week behind her in age, became very excited at the sight of a potential playmate. She desperately wanted to match the new girl, although she herself had not yet fully learned to control her paws and coordinate movements.
Jumping in uncertain circles around Klozi, Tuna wrapped her paws around her new friend, because something, and this was what she knew best.
When it came to transitioning to solid food, the striped infant had no trouble. She breezed through the task with ease. “I set a dish in front of her, and before I could sit down, she was frantically digging through everything,” Susie adds.
Tuna glanced about after eating for someone warm to cuddle. “Tuna receives hugs when he wants them.”
Under the supervision of guardians, two girlfriends have improved dramatically in appearance. Tuna showed Klozi how to get onto a man’s lap with finesse and introduced her to her brother Ari.
Her friend learned how to sneak up on the ginger cat and play with his big, fluffy tail from the striped minx.
The couple who found Tuna fell in love with her so much that they returned for a kitten. They decided to make her part of their family.
“She has grown from the size of a chicken egg to a full-fledged chicken. A few days ago, she went home to the couple who found her.
They realized that they couldn’t live without her. The story went in a loop,” Susie says.
Tuna is a joy to take since she is joyful, healthy, and loving. Last week, she started poking my nose, purring, and kissing my nose to wake me up in the morning.”
Klozi, her buddy, was also adopted by a loving family. The striped beauty is savoring her good fortune and hugging everyone.

“I am happy that I gave my time and love to (these kittens) at a stage in their life journey,” Susie said.
