Sox and Phoebe have always been a tad out of the ordinary. They had a cat fountain that they enjoyed drinking from until it became boring one day. They continued to drink from their normal bowls, but they also drank from whatever “fancy” water sources they could discover. It got their mother thinking, and she came up with a crazy notion as a result.
The kittens’ mother told The Dodo, “I had a basin with moss balls that they loved to drink from.” “While we know cats appreciate flowing water, it made me question whether they also enjoy drinking from water containing plants, which makes intuitive sense to me.”
I’m a big fan of vivariums and paladariums, and I used to have an aquarium that Phoebe would drink from. As a result, I was motivated. I had a bunch of aquarium supplies on hand and decided to put it together.”
Sox and Phoebe’s mom decided to make them the fanciest cat pond the world had ever seen. It only took her about a day to put it all together and then a week to make sure it was absolutely perfect.
It was actually a fairly simple project that she hoped would bring endless joy to her cats who adored fancy drinking options.
The cats’ mother explained, “All I did was take a storage bin and add an aquarium filter.” “I used rocks and plants to embellish.” People maintain fish in tank arrangements like this, so this isn’t really a novel concept; I simply gave it a new function. The idea is to create a healthy ecology that will benefit my kitties.”
She made certain that every plant and object in the pond was safe for cats. Chia, cat-safe orchids, cat grass, a spider plant, moss, rosemary, and roses are among the plants in the pond. She paid attention to every last detail. When the pond was finished, she showed it to her cats, who were immediately enamored with it.
“It was an instant hit with the cats,” the cats’ mother stated. “It’s almost as if they knew it was meant for them.” Since I set it up, they’ve been drinking solely from it. From there, Sox literally slurps. Phoebe enjoys playing with a mechanical fish that I purchased.”
Sox and Phoebe will no longer drink from any other source now that they have the world’s most opulent drinking choice. They are ecstatic with their new kitty pond.
Why would they ever go back to a drinking bowl that has everything they could possibly want?
