Millie is a sweet cat that was found abandoned on a farm. When Kyle and Claire discovered her and welcomed her into their home, she sobbed a lot. They are cattle ranchers in the state of Indiana, in the United States.
The pair first planned to wait for the kitten’s mother to come, but she never did. They had no choice but to adopt her permanently because they didn’t have any other choices. Wrapped in a blanket, the cat was carried to her new home, purring as she embraced her new owners.
A few days later, Millie was taken to a vet, who found that she was approximately three weeks old and needed to continue to be bottle-fed for a few more weeks.
Claire and Kyle agreed on how they would take turns taking care of the kitten and rarely leaving her alone.
Millie preferred to slumber in her owners’ arms for a while, and as the pair got to know her better, she captivated their hearts.
Claire and Kyle also have two dogs, Sadie and Boone, who have gotten along swimmingly with Millie since they first met her.
Millie has become Sadie’s little sister whom she must protect from the beginning, and Boone appears happy when he spends time playing with her.
Millie has been doing well for the past nine months after the couple rescued her. Her personality became stronger… She enjoys playing and is usually full of enthusiasm. Claire describes her as a “whirlwind of vitality.”
The kitten still enjoys hanging out with her parents and also loves to sneak out in every way she can, like the empty water bowls she finds along the way.
“Millie gets herself into all sorts of mischief, but we adore her.” She reminds us how fortunate we are to have her when she settles down and looks lovely. “He made his way into our hearts and our house,” Claire explained.
