Mercury would meet his future parents here when he recovered from difficult surgery.
When the severely injured kitten was brought in, his expectant mother and father happened to be helping the cat shelter. Both were volunteers to help cats and kittens either from the street which were abandoned by their families or those who had been injured in two fights between them.
Coincidentally while some people were cutting the weeds, the kitten
“his arms were cut off with a bathtub,” added his father, “and we assume it was simply wrong.”
They were worried and had brought the kitten to the animal shelter and had not returned for it. Both parents adored the kitten, as it was very combative. She wanted to fight forever to thrive like many other kittens.
He himself had seen the unconditional love and care for the kitten from both parents and had suggested they adapt it. The vet believed the pair would be a great match for each other.
Both adoptive parents have adapted the kitten, despite her handicap, they are helping her to overcome her difficulties.
